Hello everyone I am a new Tenere owner near St. Louis. I just sold my 2010 Moto Guzzi Stelvio ABS and bought a 2013 White Tenere. I am very impressed with the S10 and I feel as if I have been riding this bike for years
rather than days. Typical Yamaha solid, rugged, dependable and full of character. Coming off the Guzzi my first thought was that the S10 was light as the Guzzi is more than 100 lbs. heavier so I am enjoying that. I love the
transmission and the ratios seem perfect for me. The Twin is strong and smooth with just a hint of throb in the grips just like I have become accustomed to and the shaft I think is better than the Guzzi's. Only one real niggle
is that I think the seat is a tad on the soft side. This bike is near perfect right out of the crate and I don't think too many manufacturers can boast of that. I'm going to put some big miles on it and hope to see some of you
out there.

Anything south of I-44 is pretty sweet all the way deep into Arkansas. Nice part of the country to be in if you ride.

Welcome to the forum from a S10 rider that is about an hour NE of StL in IL. I have enjoyed riding southern MO and northern AR for many years. Some of the best roads in the USA.

Good to have you with us GT ..... glad you're liking the Tenere. You're gonna need to do some serious modifications to it though as unfortunately you were provided with one of the slow white models. Never mind. A quick flash will help sort that ??? ::)

Hey Gee-Tee! We have already had an email discussion about our mutual conversion from Stelvios to the Super Ten. I agree with your comments about the Yamaha entirely. I guess it wasn't just my imagination when I thought the Trnere seemed quite a bit lighter. I too feel right at home on the Tenere. I am looking forward to many miles of smiles with this beast! Mine is a 2012 model that was sitting at the dealership for the past year like some unwanted red-headed step-child. The dealer was shaking his head that there was no interest in it, and so am I. These are great bikes! What is wrong with the buying public?
Cheers,
Bruce
