What's the difference between the 2014 and 2015 s10's - I wasn't aware there was. I am popping over to fowlers soon so will check in with them and see what's going on. I definitely want an ES/ZE spec bike - happy to buy without farkles and add at my leisure

What is the difference? I thought the 14 and '15 were the same, just pre- '14 were different....
Oh, and Rob does not have any ES/ZE in stock, don't ask how I know.....

Hi Photorex

Welcome to the forum & to S10 ownership by the looks of it. You can probably guess what one of my previous bikes was, like some one else said if you want to spend time hooning around at 3 figure speeds then go for the Ttiumph Exploder. If you want a bike that can easily be maintained at home, is a great all rounder for commuting, touring, scratching through the twisties then go for the S10, the Yam suspension is far superior to the harsh ride on the Exploder as well. I have owned my S10 for 12 months now, just get on & ride it does everything i need it to do with ease & I dont have to think "whats going to go tits up next" like i did with my Exploder at times.

I have just returned from a 17 day tour through, France, Switzerland, Italy, Sardina, Corsica & then back up through France via Route Napolean. I can honestly say I would recommend the S10 to anyone looking for a great all rounder, it surprises quite a few sports bike riders in the twisties like in the alps/Sardinia.

Get some test rides & make your own mind up, but if you go the S10 route you wont be disappointed, just done read too much into it IF you read the BS in the UK bike press.

It's posts like this that seem to be echoed through he forum, it's people getting on doing what they want with the bike without having to worry about the bike. As I said I commute all year - I want something reliable and that I don't have to worry about.

The S10 seems like a fantastic choice and is sitting top of the list. I'm not going to test the exploder.
