Hi Photorex
Welcome to the forum & to S10 ownership by the looks of it. You can probably guess what one of my previous bikes was, like some one else said if you want to spend time hooning around at 3 figure speeds then go for the Ttiumph Exploder. If you want a bike that can easily be maintained at home, is a great all rounder for commuting, touring, scratching through the twisties then go for the S10, the Yam suspension is far superior to the harsh ride on the Exploder as well. I have owned my S10 for 12 months now, just get on & ride it does everything i need it to do with ease & I dont have to think "whats going to go tits up next" like i did with my Exploder at times.
I have just returned from a 17 day tour through, France, Switzerland, Italy, Sardina, Corsica & then back up through France via Route Napolean. I can honestly say I would recommend the S10 to anyone looking for a great all rounder, it surprises quite a few sports bike riders in the twisties like in the alps/Sardinia.
Get some test rides & make your own mind up, but if you go the S10 route you wont be disappointed, just done read too much into it IF you read the BS in the UK bike press.
