Howdy from Connecticut. I had been lusting after a gs1200 for years, until I saw the tenere about 6 months ago. After reading this forum, and every online article I could find, I sold my zrx1200.

My neighbor happens to be sales manager at my local Yamaha dealer, and after talking to him, I put down a deposit on an impact blue s10.

But that was in the beginning of February, and still no bike!

I though I'd join now, because once I get the bike, none of you will ever hear from me again.

Unless my spokes come undone.

Picked up the bike this morning! I was a little nervous at first, but once I got underway I was in love. This bike just feels good. I'm 6'5" so the buffeting was pretty bad, but I was in a good mood all day at work. Someone even told me I had a twinkle in my eye.

I told them my wife is letting my new mistress stay in the garage.

Hey up and down. I love riding up through VT. In fact, the VT and NH roads were one reason I wanted this bike. My old street bike was torture over the bumps and frost heaves. And forget about dirt...

Once I get her broken in I'd love to put some miles on up north.

Hey DJM. I'm originally from 203 land. I did a lot of hanging out in Danbury. Too bad they don't do marcus dairy on Sundays anymore.

I've got a whopping 22 miles on it right now. Hopefully the weather will be nice this Saturday so I can really get a feel for the bike.
