New exhaust on the big bang engine ! HOLY COW ! With pictures......

Got done with my exhaust today. Wow what a difference in sound and throttle response. The exhaust sounds SO SWEET! Not super loud but really deep. When I first started it I thought it was going to be louder and was, nice that it wasn't. When you blip the throttle the rev's come up much quicker VS the stock exhaust. On my ride home tonight it seems to pull harder and gets to 4-5K quicker.. Maybe its just the thought, but it does seem to make a nice difference in power.. When im just going down the road it sounds stock.. That's nice, its not loud like a motocross bike... Ill make a video and post it up. Next I will be working on the bags and get them on. Much more to come ! Here are a few pictures........

Where'd you get the Akro heat shield? I've got Akrapovic exhaust on my KTM and it sounds so good... My wife is envious. Her last Ducati S2R1000 had the full racing exhaust. She could set off car alarms at night in downtown Portland.

changing out the stock silencer gives a little over all power increase (maybe 4-7bhp) but its the middle part it fattens up so much, the part where we ride every day, bikes with cats rarely get too loud with a silencer swap out, when i get a chance i will put mine on the dyno with the stock pipe then the open pipe then with the headers added and then with a PC V mapped and post it up

Tabasco - Love what you did to the grill. I still want to make a mock grill for the right side, just to inlay over the center section. it needs something there. ???

Its an Akrapovic TI / Carbon.. The heat shield I got out of the Akro section on ebay...

I agree.. The DYNO between my ears loves the extra 3 bhp Looking forward to your results. Post up when you get them....

Please post a new thread with links when you have the screen kit available. I love that look on the World-crosser and had planned to make something, but if a kit becomes available, well that would just make it too easy!!! Cash hates being in my wallet......

Hey Tabasco, looks good. I am right there with you. I put my Arrow on last night and could not believe the difference just with the silencer. PCV and good map will be even better improvement I think. Full system, Oh yeah!

I like the grill mod too!

Also fit the headers! They make just a big difference as the silencer! I really love the bike now, there is instant response and full power everywhere!!!
