my first Super Ten penny-tech

Off to find some dirt roads this weekend, but couldn't get a fender extender in time. I found this rack designed for draining paint brushes (but who does THAT any more?), I think it cost like $2.50 at Home Depot. A bit of bending and twisting, a shot of Rustoleum Black, some cable ties, and wella! some engine protection. I fits perfectly across the front of the H&B skid plate.

Don't know how well it will work, but should do SOMETHING - it will stay on at least until I get my fender extender, but probably, well, it will just stay on regardless...

If I recall, one of his sig lines had an affectionate reference to an '08 KLR.

Also 2 v-stroms as well, which are not much further up the scale in the cheapskate stakes...

I think mine is about 500% cheaper than the TT one!
