I've been to Moonshine a couple of times. Really a great experience. Twice I received recognition for 2nd longest distance traveled, and camping at Terry's farm is one of the best social events I've ever experienced on a bike (a motorcycle mini-Woodstock). Terry had a great gift for including every kind of bike and rider. Meeting all the varieties of riders coming from every direction, all for a Moonburger on Saturday afternoon, in usually less than great weather is something only Terry Hammond could put together. He was a bigger than life piece o' work, and the world needs more people like him.
This year my Spring cross country trip got waylayed while I'm in the process of swapping over from my trusty old Honda ST 1100 to a new Yamaha Super Tenere (I'm still waiting for it's arrival). So no Moonshine, no dipping my toes in the Atlantic. But I'll be back on the road before too long, and it won't all be paved this time. There's a lot of roads to discover between Northern California and Moonshine, and I'm looking forward to traveling them.
Safe riding to all those heading out for a Moonburger tomorrow.
