look deep into the line of bikes that go down that road away from the Moonshine "hub" - 100's and 100's of bikes.

the lunch line was all the way down that road and 1/2 way up the next - maybe 300 in line...crazee

Jim - my riding companion for the day...awesome.!

My dad rode down from Fort Wayne and my brother rode down from Fon Du Lad, WI. Why didn't I go!?!?! Oh yeah, it's 800 miles one way.

Was great seeing some old familiar faces and meeting some new ones. This was the best weather yet I have experienced for Moonshine. A little windy on the way home, but I'm not going to complain. It was my birthday, and it was warm. Great day!

Ok... so what's the punch line? So you would have had to leave at midnight to get there for lunch, but that would have given you something like 5-6 hours of daylight heading home before needing a hotel room, and only a 6-7 hour ride home from there. Still weekend do-able.

It's twice that distance for me. Mostly thats a gas and work issue. Saving funds for a AK trip, so Moonshine will have to wait until next year, or the year after. Hope to make it there before they stop doing the run.
