based on the size of the OEM fog lights, it is at least 7 inches. Closer to 9 if I had to guess with no bike here in front of me.

I was looking there for the PIAA 1100s sitting in the garage from a past bike.
Plus a radar detector that would be nicely hidden.

Here you go buddy .... It's ~10 inches between the plastics.

Look closely and you'll see the mounting holes for aux lights.

Tabasco, the area where you are wanting to fix these has a slight taper and averages about 250mm (9-7/8") width between the inner plastic guards.
Hope this helps..

Greg.

Thanks Greg,

Just a thought on these lights... I think the width on the lights is 11" , so looks to be too long to go under between the plastic but might be able to machine some mounts to go on the Yamaha crash hoop or my own that I come up with...... I guess it will be all worked out when we get the darn bikes.... :D

Must be really nice to have about two years lead time on R&D & parts for the ST...... you LUCKY ! O:)

Just coming up to 1yr now.
Been too busy riding to worry too much about parts design.
It's not a big part of my gig anyway, it's just that I build stuff for me, and other people want them.. :)
This is why I am normally so open and transparent about what I am doing when I design shit.

Greg.
