Southern Utah has some Amazing riding and I'm looking at the possibility of a mid to late September Rally there. Would be based out of the St. George or Zion area. This would give everyone access to day rides to the Grand Canyon Toroweep area, Zion and Bryce National parks and endless dirt roads. Just gauging interest at this time. It would most likely be a camping style rally instead of Hotels but a campground that has pools, hot tubs showers. Even has full RV hookups. Reason I'm saying September is because Southern Utah is just to hot for most in June, July, Aug. What's your opinions? Anyone be interested?

I'm in, love that area...I'm also headed there Oct 1st-4th for the Flying Monkey Adventure Rally based out of the Zion Ponderosa. I also want to do the Burr Trail area, Moki Dugway, Valley of the Gods.

I would be interested, I'm riding in from New Mexico also.

Camping is the best choice IMO. September, or May is a good time of year in Utah...

I thought about May but for me I have so much goi g on with the Amgen Tour of California and school graduations etc. Towards the end of September would be best I would think. Just not sure how it works in other peoples schedules. Typical it starts cooling off decent at the higher elevations by then so it wouldn't be so hot like it would in June, July and August.

It sounds like there are a few here already interested so I'm going to start doing more homework and try and make this happen. I use to organize a Toyhauler Rally in SoCal with RV.Net but it got so big the BLM shut us down unless we would pay these huge permit fees and Insurance. We were getting over 100 Toyhaulers out and doing Pot Luck Dinners, Poker Runs kids races around the camp, raffles etc. It was a lot of fun.

The Pot luck would be tough with motorcycles but I live close enough and love to cook Dutch oven that I could easily bring stuff and cook dinners for a few nights. Or do most of you like to eat on there own?
