Paul: most notable milestone (pun intended). Forget washing at this point. Do the CCT update and adjust those valves.

She's a dirty girl. Did she get the bath you promised?

INCREDIBLE story! At some point, he'll need a new bike. Come on YAMAHA...donate to a good cause when he needs a bike. ::022::

Clutch basket. Everything else has been holding up fine. Thinking about changing the brake fluid next year.

Re: 100,000 miles.

Congrats!!!

I often wonder how many miles I would have on mine if I had kept my '12. Certainly not as many as you as I typically only ride between 10k and 15k miles a year.

Again, well done!!!!

Your a star, never had anyone destruction test a bike I own before, gives me a real warm feeling, have now abandoned the urge to replace the CCT at 26k or fit a later clutch basket - rather keep the money for tyres and fuel.

I do however wimp out and change the fluids regularly - oh, and wash it, but if I was on the same mission as you are I would soon get bored of washing the bike for it to just be dirty again a day or two later.

Keep up the great work ::008::

Re: Barber Museum S10

It might be old, but I've never seen it before....and that S10 is awesome! Are there any more photos of it someplace?

Re: Barber Museum S10

Isn't Long Haul Paul a member of this forum? I seem to remember him (or a name similar to that) soliciting interest in a large capacity fuel tank on the forum a while back....

Either way, I went to his website...that's a pretty inspiring story.

Edit: My mistake. I think that was RTW Paul I was thinking of.
