Official broken in. This has been one of the best bikes I have ever owned. At 100K, I'm thinking about washing it, and checking the valves; for the first time.

Re: 100,000 miles.

Good to you Longhaulpaul. I honestly hope to do what you're doing - checking the valves at 100k. I'm still way from that, but till now I ignored plug check/change as recommended by the manual. And I'm still going strong.

What? No ecu flash, throttle body sync, spark plugs, how does she even start?
Seriously, it's good to hear the Tenere is better then the Energizer bunny.

'congrats & well done. The valves are likely fine but you might want to check the blinker fluid. Its in the 100k service interval check list which oddly seems to be missing from some manuals.... ::013::

Might as well let spinning wheels spin at this point! ::008::

Re: 100,000 miles.

Congratulations! That's a fun milestone to break! Are you serious about never having checked the valves in that time? My 2012 didn't need adjustments until 75K, but I had it checked every 26K.

Best,

Chris
