I'd really like a longer/taller side stand for my S-T. I really think the bike leans way too far over stock. Is there anything available?

Not that I've ever seen. Maybe start with any of the side stand feet wideners and add 1/4" or 3/8" alum plate. Drill & tap through the existing screw holes. Be careful. The excessive lean is needed when you're at max gross wt.

Strange. My sidestand seems too long at times. I pull up to a gas pump or atm machine, try to lower it and can't, if there is a slight slope from left (high side) to right (low side).

If I can, I approach a pump to avoid this but the atm is a one-way deal.
BTW..stock stand without any foot extension.

The more preload u have dialed in, the more it's going to lean on the side stand. With the stick suspension I found it would barely lean because it squatted to much. Now, with the proper sag in the rear, it sits a little higher and doesn't squat as much so it leans a little more. Not an issue for me typically unless I'm on a hill the wrong way (excessive road camber is a killer ;D )

I don't think the actual thickness of the metal between the bottom of the kickstand and the ground is actually a half inch, at most a quarter inch. That being said, I asked Jaxon to extend my kick stand 5/8-7/8"(don't remember exact) plus his foot plate. Nice lean angle.

Be careful what you wish for. My Stelvio's side stand kept the bike so upright, I was afraid a stiff breeze might knock it over. It actually did get blown over once while parked in a windstorm, but the winds were so strong, I'm not sure even a shorter side stand would have prevented this.

Yea, our side stand is super strong and will raise it about 1/4".... Or we can cut and weld it any length you want... when you get it back it will look factory new.....
