I do believe it was a car and not a bike, you can see the reflection of the dash vents on the windshield...................RCinNC said:It was pretty impressive that his bike could take a front end hit like that and he still stayed upright. My dad hit a deer once on his KZ900, and neither the deer nor my dad fared as well. Dad had to get his driver's license photo taken the next day, and he looked like he went over Niagara Falls in a paper sack.
Been there, done that...on a Tenere...at about 75 MPH.RCinNC said:It was pretty impressive that his bike could take a front end hit like that and he still stayed upright.
Me two. Twice! this year on Tenere and about 10 years ago on a Venture Royale.Dirt_Dad said:Been there, done that...on a Tenere...at about 75 MPH.

The description of your dad going over Niagra makes up for it.RCinNC said:Definitely my bad. Just wasn't paying attention.
LOL, thanks Shrek. My words don't do it justice...he looked rough. Wish I still had his driver's license from that time period.shrekonwheels said:The description of your dad going over Niagra makes up for it.

When I hit the first one I thought great I didn't even get hurt and will probably never hit another one ! Boy was I wrong ! 3 were at night and 2 were in broad daylight, yes deer up here are quite a bit bigger than deer in Texas but deer and motorcycles are bad news everywhereMadhatter said:cycledude, 5 deer, wow... I would be afraid to leave the drive way.... and I hear them Wisconsin deer are big deer... a whitetail deer here may go 150 lbs, must be like hitting a cow in Wisconsin....
