I got an email last week from Heidenau USA last week that there will be a price increase on most of the Heidenau tires.. The popular K60 that we use are one of them that is going up.... If you want a set before the increase let me know... They go up on Jan 15.....

I spoke with Jaxon today to order a set and he said the increase is about $50 a set. To my mind an increase of that magnitude will have me keeping my eyes open for something else. Hope some other manufacturer comes out with a true 50/50 tire that gets decent mileage.

The price increase sucks but at least based on my experience with K-60s, I doubt any other tire will give the combination of life and performance K-60s offer. I'm pushing up against 30,000 miles on the set I mounted in July.

Just bought a front K60 yesterday. $145. Prices are higher here in Canukstan anyway. Going to try a front K60 and a rear Anakee 2. Didn't like the handling of the rear K60 from about 1/2 wear on a friends GSA. Mostly just do gravel roads and bumpy paved stuff but hoping to hit Moab in April and want to be ready for sandier terrain or whatever. I always wanted to try one and this was my excuse. ::26::

Just wondering what tire pressures you run to get this kind of mileage?

I run 33-34 psi in the front, and 42-44 psi in the rear.
