Bruce- At this point I am happy with it. The Bike feels very planted and sits high with no rider. With me on it the sag is still there but no where near how low it was with the factory spring. With the factory spring it was like a low rider. Used to be able to flat foot, now I’m on my tippy toes and I’m 6’. I did get one of those kick stand bases to add a hair of height to the kickstand. The factory spring had ES maxed out at two helmets and luggage, now I only use one helmet. I am still playing with rebound settings currently at standard 0. Not sure about stress on the shock or linkage but up to this point no issues. If I had to replace the spring today would use 900# again. Hope this helps.

Pretty straight forward ….i don’t remember stock spacers. There was a spring retainer but I don’t remember stock spacers? The new racetech spacers go three spacers at the bottom two at the top. If you got the ones I listed it will make sense once you have everything apart and you put it together.I think I listed how the RT spacers work somewhere in this thread. I am no expert by any means but let us know if you get stuck on something. The hardest part was compressing the spring. Best of luck you’ll do great!
