Hi all, thanks for suggesting to get original iridium plugs from above site, it's worth the peace of mind, especially as it's not a 2 min operation to change them
But when I went to the site, I found there are several grades of iridium.
I tried searching here but my forum search skills are clearly lacking.
So which part number and which grade of iridium ( IX,max, laser etc)?
Thanks in advance.

Ok so I found out after a bit of digging on this forum that most are recommending: NGK G-Power CPR8EAGP-9 Iridium IX from Japan spark plugs.
However, the aren't delivering to UK, anyone know where else to get them?

If you’re changing the plugs you’ll need to remove the airbox and the breather pipe, which can be a pita to refit. Make your life easier by getting hold of some extra long, long nose pliers. Something like this.

Thanks, ordered.
I managed to order the plugs in the end, but only by having them sent to a friend in France, who in turn, will send them on.
What a pita.
They did email me back quite quickly regarding my question about why no shipping to UK, Covid.......yeah right

Not necessarily, I believe the platinum were the only style available when I bought my set. Now they have both.... Ill have to brush up on all my spark plug knowledge, (my brain is currently on work)... One last a long time, the other last a really long time. The platinum is probably a 75K + mile plug.. The iridium is probably a 100K mile plug. I recently pulled some Iridium plugs out of a 110K car and they looked almost new. The gap was actually almost in factory spec. Pretty crazy. Either plug is way better than stock, IMOP.

I bought these pliers to reach that pesky air box clamp:

Compré estos alicates para llegar a esa molesta abrazadera de la caja de aire:
that hose plug I solved it another way. "Before" plugging the filter case into the throttle body, you plug in the hose and attach the clamp with a normal pliers. then you plug the filter box into TB. … Trying to do it with the box screwed into the TB… ..it's stressful

Finally they arrive from Taiwan (Japansparkplugs), via a friend in France
Now, what type spark plug removing tool do I need, and what is the accepted way of not getting crap down into engine (have a vacuum trained over the hole first?)
Finally, what torque do I need to set the plugs to when tightening?
Thanks in advance
