Hello everybody!!

I just got my Super T yesterday, it was the first time I left a dealer under the rain with a brand new vehicle.
Since I am a transplant from the Sportbike world, my last bike was a 2011 R1, I am looking forward to learn about this type of Moto, exchange experiences, provide some input as well as meeting riders from here to South America and anywhere in between! ::022::

Welcome HHH.... I think your going to have a great time heading off road a little... It just gives you SO much freedom over your sport bike... When you do, make sure to post some pictures :)

Thank you Rem, the Moto is a 2013 white. ;D

Here some pictures:

I had quite a few brand new vehicles, but this one, amazingly had "0" zero miles on the odometer.

A little before I left the dealer.

This shot is with the only friend I have with an Adventure moto, she has a Suzuki Vstrom 650.

Welcome from another Jacksonvillian!

Nice looking ride in the white! Give a shout some time and we'll go for a scoot.

BTW, nice weather you took her home in last night - we had a true-ass drencher going on about that time - bet the old girl handled it just fine...

Welcome from down south in Orlando! Great looking bike! I love the white and wish they had it available when I got mine. (But the Black ones are faster! LOL :D)

Balderdash! That Wee is prolly faster, simply because it's the right color...

Hello and ::004::, HHH! Congratulations on your purchase. Obviously, you will find it a different riding experience than the R1, but I think you will find it very comfortable, and it will take you places that you would not have considered going to on your sport bike!
Enjoy,

Bruce

Guys I'm sorry for the delayed reply, I have been busy riding and doing some reading to learn the specifics of this Moto. ( I use the "Search" button a lot) :))

Thank you!! Yes it was pouring down, but you know it...she was indeed the best in that rain!
We can definitely go for a ride sometime, I am on Southside by Baymeadows. ::001::

Thank you!! Funny thing we almost always want the color they don't have, my R1 was blue and I wanted the Ténéré blue as well, the dealer said he could get a '12 for me, but the price would be the same, so I passed. (BTW...blue is the fastest, at least on R1's) ask me how I know ::019::

Welcome. Love the white...
Thank you!! I really like the white now too, the other option I had DSG was not appealing to me.

Greetings from Texas! Give us a shout if you come this way from Flatistan.
Thank you!! I most definitely will, in 2010 I was living in Spring, TX so I know a few turns there. ::001::

Thank you!! Indeed I found the difference on riding between these two machines, the only regret I have is not having purchased it before!! :)

I'm just over the Dames Point off Alta Drive - I'm usually available on the weekends - just shoot me a PM and we'll take 'em out some time. I don't really do off road (heresy, I know) but everything here that I've found is deep sugar sand, which ain't a lot of fun on this big girl. Especially with the Sport Toury tires I run, but I'm happy to run the streets anytime.

And you won't see a lot of Tenere's around - I've only seen one other on the road here since I got mine last February...actually I think it's the only one I've ever seen on the road...

Hey fellas, I am in Callahan and would love to get in on some of that local riding. I have had mine since last may and find myself riding it more than any other bike I have owned. I have rode it on some of the dirt roads in WMA's around here and taken a few trips to the mountains. Congrats on the new ride.

I pass through Callahan quite often, either running a loop I ride up through Hilliard, or up into Ga. playing on the roads that run between 40 (I think) and 17. I just kind of pick a direction and take side roads when the urge hits.

I'm working this weekend, but I'm pretty sure I'm clear the following Saturday...

I can't go the morning of the 21st because we have our final practice for our Christmas program on Sunday. Sorry you have to work this Saterday cause weather sounds like it is going to be nice. I ride up into Ga a lot. Nice to stay out of Jacksonville traffic. Always looking for new roads to try out. Just got a Garmin because poor cell coverage keeps phone GPS from working. Maybe we could try the next weekend.
