She said it's been made from scratch. She also mentioned the wiring being changed. I doubt much of that bike is '87 anymore.

She made the comment that there was more customizing to be done. So, I have to ass-sume wind protection and speedo are in the plans.
Yeah, the guy said... the frame is original... so I think you're right.

The motor probably is also, but I'm sure it's been overhauled at the very least. Likely punched out a bit too. Easy to make it bullet proof reliable with modern guts.

Could be a modern one that goes off of GPS signal for speed. No need for a mechanical connection anymore.
yes i agree, but knowing her and her world travels to hundreds of different countries, she,ll use sat nav of course but she will want speedo as well as if you like back up she won,t ride a bike around the world with no speedo

I really like that mans way of thinking! I am very impressed with that bike. KISS Keep it simple stupid. I have had Yamaha dirt bikes my whole life and it is amazing to see how many parts really look familiar in his shop. not sure they would be the same but they sure look the same.

i dig the fact that it,ll run without a battery, and the 2nd wiring harness with backup electronics. killer idea.

My brother has recently got himself a Tiger 850 Sport, that came equipped with Bumot soft panniers. They look and feel very high quality, are waterproof, lockable to the rack and connect on and off very easily. Only negative is that the bags are not lockable, however it seems that a cable lock would stop the opportunist thief. I REALLY dislike riding with panniers, albeit I’ve only ever tried the OEM Yamaha ones, so have these or similar in mind if and when I change bikes.

A friend has the Moskos and they are truly great; I just don’t want to spend that much.

My concern if I were in her boots would be the thief with a knife.

Don T and his wife are in Paraguay so far. They've been pretty conscious about getting secure parking wherever they spend the night. They haven't had any people trouble so far. (knock on wood) But they're using Mosko Moto and have nothing but good to say about them. They've had a couple of minor wear items, and the customer service was fantastic. Apparently, you get what you pay for.

I bet she has a few sponsors. It wouldn't surprise me if Mosko Moto gave it to her for T&E (test and evaluate).
Confirmed, all the Rev'it, Arari and Mosko stuff is for free she has mentioned in a previous video.
And indeed test and evaluate because she is giving it a lot of punishment.

I have seen some articles Itchy Boots has had in magazines but I never really followed her travels till I saw the shop fixing her that Yamaha. I thought now that is an ADV bike. Simple and redundant. I was very impressed with the prep and functionality of the bike. A few weeks ago it got stolen and the wiring harness was cut up. Once she got the bike back she was able to pretty much plug in the secondary dirt bike style harness kick start it and carry on. I hate thieves! I am so happy she got it back but the point is that bike was very well set up and she is very impressive too to be able to keep her thoughts and get things done on her own.
