Is this political? I don't know. I hope they didn't confuse anybody. SATIRE Just a failed attempt at humor again.
Unfortunately the concept of “humour” entirely reflects our belief sets and bias; it doesn’t add any qualities of independence, impartiality or validity to the point of the joke. Hence democrats find jokes belittling or insulting Trump funny, but republicans don’t.

the Arnold has been a republican , but a conservative ? not even close . in my view the Republican Party is dead , the democrats have republicans so called leadership shaking in the corner of the political world. they have turned against those of us who are republican and conservative . they have left 75 million voters behind to kiss the Nancy pelosis butt.
there are republicans in office but the party is done . what's left is disgusting to the supporters of trump . there are a few good strong conservative republicans but not enough to matter. its done.
as far as the bill of rights goes , its as much a part of the body of the constitution as any amendment . the only reason the constitution was ratified was by the inclusion of the bill of rights . to say otherwise is to say we have no rights except those given to us by those in charge of us. which of the rights listed are you willing to give up ? if one can fall then all can . and then you have nothing.
remember the Supreme Court , democrats said they would add to their numbers , all they need to swing the court left . then what . and they will interpret the rights anyway they see fit , can't protect yourself , can't speak your mind , can't gather together , can't bow your heads to a higher authority . and on it goes. the French Revolution was a great idea till your head was put in the guillotine .

Nobody likes to say they are wrong. Some more than others. I thought Trump did a lot of good. He calmed a lot of the Midle east conflicts #1. I don't think he intended to imply a violent attack the Capitol. A few pack mentality morons got together and are gonna pay a price for that shit. Out of estimated 40K you know they were was a bunch of drunk and doped up dumbasses and infiltrators. What do you think 40K antifa's and BLM would have done?

This forum is becoming Twitter.
Trying to contain it to just this thread. Anybody bothered can elect to just not click on this one.

Members were continually putting political posts into so many other threads that moderating was getting to be like the Jan 6 cops being outnumbered at the barricades, so this one thread has become a place for it. I'm guessing it'll fade to an occasional post like the gun thread did. The way this seems to be settling in is:

Explaining your views = fine
Political jokes = Here and not in the rest of the forum, just please don't overdo it

Slamming other members or just being a PITA = As always - don't
Hogging the air with countless posts of your opinion = Expect them to be deleted

Looks like many of the leaders of the mob are ex police / military. What is happening to police and military that appears to be radicalising them?

black lives matter and other liberal organizations attacking the police as bad people . and the killing of officers (somebody is behind the attacks in promoting this ) without much concern from Democratic Party leadership . defunding of police departments in liberal states and cities . not prosecuting known criminals ,basically its a catch and release program with no penalty for the bad actor . could you do a job any job with people screaming at you calling you names and your lives are always in potential jeopardy but they call you the problem , and that's just from those you work for . crime is up in every city where the liberals have defunded the police .... not a problem till you need a policeman and he or she is not there.
there are bad actors in every group ,police are no different . the rally trump had had a few bad actors ,they will pay ...... but at some point the blame needs to go to the real problem . it's not the police (I agree that there could be some changes in some departments ) its the politicians who have brought us to this place . they make the laws ,they set the standards , and we have all heard them say its ok to riot and burn down the cities .its all been recorded . they will lie about a statement , play the recording please , doesn't seem to bother them they are caught in a lie.
you devote your life to a cause or a trade , then you are betrayed by those you serve . pissed off , radicalized , just mad as hell and aint going to take it no more . seems a normal response to being shit on.

I think the term radicalized is stretching it a bit, unless anyone with a right of center political view is considered to have been “radicalized” (and by implication, also anyone who has a left of center view). Those used to structure, discipline and order are most likely to object to what they perceive as a moral and ethical decay in society where knee-jerk policy is driven by social media and every needy pressure group under the sun, rather than a framework of policy principles.

The ex forces and law enforcement people would take the red pill because they want to expose the truth about the matrix…..!
