No….just…NOHere y'all go. Luggage, windshield, dinner plate sized valve covers . . . . all it needs is a beak.

Madhatter, the pleasure was all mine sir. Great conversation and quick demo ride. Thank you for trusting me with your S10. She is a rugged and well farkled beauty! Very comfy cockpit setup too. I'm glad you were able to experience the joy of the ECU flash. Imho, it truly does transform the bike into a more safe and predictable one. Maybe a little bit faster tooso yesterday morning I left my home at 6am to ride to New Braunfels Tx to meet up with Nighthawk . he having never met me offered to allow me to ride his flashed 2016 black Tenere (which was immaculate , not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. unlike my 2019 which lives outside with the wildlife . ) we met at Whataburger an iconic Texas hamburger chain for breakfast and to get to know each other. after an hours talking we ride . there is a big difference in how the bikes perform . did not feel I was dragging a large tire behind the bike as I accelerated through the gears (first 3 gears especially )we only rode about 6 miles but that was all I needed to know.
nighthawk was generous in allowing me to test his bike , he is a quality man that I am glad I met . crazy all the friends I have made because of this super Tenere , or maybe it is the super friend maker bike. if you get chance to meet nighthawk you will see what I see. thanks again Nighthawk , I enjoyed meeting you .
So the question is... I think it depends on if you are happy with it as stock. Personally I did not like the sudden deceleration when you let the throttle off and found very little difference between Touring and Sport and was prepared to sell it. After the flash it was much smoother, got better mileage (marginally) but it was a much better bike with a noticeable difference between Touring and Sport. At least in my opinion. So the question is... ( At least for me...)
Now that you were able to compare the two ,flashed and not ,
Would you flash yours?
I don't intend to start a war amongst who has it or not I am just curious if it would be worth or not...
Thanks in advance.

If you don't mind me asking, where or who did your reflash? ThanksMadhatter, the pleasure was all mine sir. Great conversation and quick demo ride. Thank you for trusting me with your S10. Wishing you lots of moto smiles and miles whatever you decide to do
Wow, that's surprising. When I'm in "T", it feels like my clutch is worn out, and slipping. "S" is instantaneous throttle response.. . . . found very little difference between Touring and Sport . . . .
2 Wheel DynoWorks performed the service. Seems the price has gone up $30 USD or so since I got mine done over a year ago. As Madhatter stated though, it's still a bargain. I'd pay that amount and more given the benefit. Here's some direct links:If you don't mind me asking, where or who did your reflash? Thanks
I got to thinkin' about this. Since: our ECUs should be identical . . . . and our chip seal roads should also be identical . . . . and mine will spin the tire until the TCS or I back off of the throttle in at least the first two gears. . . . I think your TCS is kicking in when you're accelerating hard, and reducing power or applying brakes. That would give you the felling you describe.. . . . did not feel I was dragging a large tire behind the bike as I accelerated through the gears (first 3 gears especially ) . . . .
Exactly my experience/opinion. With proper throttle/clutch control, there is no jerkiness.I ride on sport all the time.
I don't like touring one I found it too slow and the bike tends to stall things that doesn't happen on sport mode.
Last week on a rare trips on motorway I got stuck because of an accident and driving through the traffic I thought I didn't find my throttle " jerky" at all.
Driving manly on mountains I like the engine brake when I release the throttle, it helps me to stop easier...
That's one of the first things that I noticed when I got the bike, and I love it. And, since I don't have any friends, I don't have to worry about getting hit..... with the stock set up I can ride with out using my brakes much at all . but it drives my friends crazy . . . .
Thanks for the info. One of these days I'll get around to getting this done.2 Wheel DynoWorks performed the service. Seems the price has gone up $30 USD or so since I got mine done over a year ago. I remember AF1 when it was located in New Braunfels. Cool shop at any location! Interesting story; I'm familiar with one of the reps there and we hadn't each other in a long time. When I visited him at the Austin relocated location, he asked what I was currently riding and I told him the Super Tenere. The following are his exact words: "Awesome! Did you get the ECU flashed yet?" I thought that was very interesting! LOL! I hadn't gotten the flash yet and AF1 no longer provided the service but he knew enough about the bike to highly recommend that I get it done. I asked him why and he said "It just livens the engine up. You'll get more horsepower and it smooths things out. Trust me, get the ECU flashed." I was still HIGHLY skeptical and delayed it for months more. Including that rep's recommendation, my own extensive pre-flash seat time and the inspirational testimony on this forum, one other feedback source made me commit; that of multiple pro moto journalists across various publications. Many of them (including Rider magazine) were critical of the S10's jerky throttle response. From that point, it became a matter of looking at it as "Can 250 people be wrong??" Lol! Rider magazine went as far as to try various mods to smooth the throttle response out and even closed the article by soliciting input from readers. That was remarkable to me as that publication doesn't seem to be about max performance and max hp.You guys are getting a bargain on the flash. I had mine done back in 2013 when the bike was new and it was $450 at AF1 Racing. There were very few choices back then.
What's good about meeting other Supertenere drivers is that they are reliable friends generally as they value reliability . They are also happy with simpler things as they value simple thingsso yesterday morning I left my home at 6am to ride to New Braunfels Tx to meet up with Nighthawk . he having never met me offered to allow me to ride his flashed 2016 black Tenere (which was immaculate , not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. unlike my 2019 which lives outside with the wildlife . ) we met at Whataburger an iconic Texas hamburger chain for breakfast and to get to know each other. after an hours talking we ride . there is a big difference in how the bikes perform . did not feel I was dragging a large tire behind the bike as I accelerated through the gears (first 3 gears especially )we only rode about 6 miles but that was all I needed to know.
