Out of curiosity, which station are you assigned to, at leas the general area? My dad was LAFD from 1968-1999 and of course I remember growing up watching "Emergency"...

I'm going to vote black as the most dangerous color. I've owned two black bikes, both became property of the insurance company.

My kid's first R6 was black. Totaled in less than a month, before the first payment (took a chunk out of the engine block). Other driver said she didn't see him. Now he as the screaming yellow chicken (60th Anniversary). Hopefully he has better luck than bob dirt. ???

Well the search is over. Just put a deposit on a dream Tenere with only 6k miles for me. I found it within about 10 minutes of the seller listing and got ahold of him immediately and said I wanted it and would send him a non refundable deposit via PayPal to hold it for me until I get off duty from the Fire Dept and can pick it up on Wednesday. Luckily I had driven my Truck to work because I had a buyer in California for my Sherco 300 Trials bike and I told him I’d deliver for the the price of fuel to drive my truck to work. So while I’ve been here at work the past 5 days I’ve been searching a lot hoping something would pop up and I could haul one home in my truck. Well luck was on my side and we made a deal on it last night.

I’ve always wanted the Anniversary Yellow Tenere. I could just never find one last year when I was in the market for one. About a week after I bought my Red 2015ES a Yellow one came up that was bone stock. My 2015ES was decked out with tons of options and I tried to get the buyer of that Yellow Tenere to trade me for my 2015 with all the Farkles plus a grand and he wouldn’t do it. Now I come across this Yellow Tenere last night and it has full 3 piece luggage (Not sure what kind didn’t even ask. Can anyone identify it?). Altrider crash and skid protection and a few other nice things. Not as decked out as my 2015 but I don’t mind customizing this one to my liking. That’s always part of the fun for me. And it’s standard suspension which I personally prefer over the ES anyways. I do wish it had heated grips though but I’ll figure something out there. Doubt I’ll go OEM though.

Here is a look at the bike. Can’t wait to ride it.

I do like the yellow. What has it got for a windscreen? Is that stock? Is there a Madstad?

No Madstad and stock screen. That’s going to change though.

Glad it's worked for you. After having a 100% total rate on my black bike experiences, I'm done with black. That's saying something because I never really care about color. To each his own.
