I think I’m trying for a record of the most Super Teneres bought and sold. I have a serious problem buying and selling bikes. Haha. But once again I’m in the market for yet another Gen 2. Hoping to find something within about 700 or so miles of St. George, UT. If anyone has any leads I’m all ears. Feel free to PM me the information. Hoping to find something already farkled up at a decent price. Sub $10k would be ideal. I know they are out there as I bought a 2014 and a 2015 last year for killer deals and low mileage. This will be my 4th Tenere since 2014.

Re: In the market for yet another Tenere

I’m looking for a 14 or newer. PM me pics and details. Just missed a 14 in the for sale section on a SoCal bike that ended up going for $8500 with some good extras. Alt Rider crash bars and skid plate, ecu reflash and a bunch of other extras.

Why so many bikes? What are you breaking on so many machines that you need a replacement so quickly?

Well the search is over. Just put a deposit on a dream Tenere with only 6k miles for me. I found it within about 10 minutes of the seller listing and got ahold of him immediately and said I wanted it and would send him a non refundable deposit via PayPal to hold it for me until I get off duty from the Fire Dept and can pick it up on Wednesday. Luckily I had driven my Truck to work because I had a buyer in California for my Sherco 300 Trials bike and I told him I’d deliver for the the price of fuel to drive my truck to work. So while I’ve been here at work the past 5 days I’ve been searching a lot hoping something would pop up and I could haul one home in my truck. Well luck was on my side and we made a deal on it last night.

I’ve always wanted the Anniversary Yellow Tenere. I could just never find one last year when I was in the market for one. About a week after I bought my Red 2015ES a Yellow one came up that was bone stock. My 2015ES was decked out with tons of options and I tried to get the buyer of that Yellow Tenere to trade me for my 2015 with all the Farkles plus a grand and he wouldn’t do it. Now I come across this Yellow Tenere last night and it has full 3 piece luggage (Not sure what kind didn’t even ask. Can anyone identify it?). Altrider crash and skid protection and a few other nice things. Not as decked out as my 2015 but I don’t mind customizing this one to my liking. That’s always part of the fun for me. And it’s standard suspension which I personally prefer over the ES anyways. I do wish it had heated grips though but I’ll figure something out there. Doubt I’ll go OEM though.

Here is a look at the bike. Can’t wait to ride it.

Beautiful bike. The yellow sure is sexy.

The boxes look an awful lot like Givi Trekker Outbacks, but upon a closer inspection I think they are slightly different. Anyhow, nice setup! Congrats!

You've caught me on number of Teneres purchased. I've only sold one. Insurance company claimed another one.

I am riding my fourth. My third is up for sale. Although the yellow is sexy, I think it's the most dangerous in color. I was hit twice by 2 SUV's with mine before it was totaled. The second time I was thrown off and broke some bones. I was in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road. Have fun with it

Well we were all wrong. I’d never have guessed it in a million years as it’s a company I’ve never heard of. I contacted the seller and asked about it and he said it a company called “Brooks Autosports Luggage”
Anyone ever heard of that?

I'm going to vote black as the most dangerous color. I've owned two black bikes, both became property of the insurance company.

Absolutely and the reviews I’ve read on ADVRider are very positive. I think I’ll like them. The only luggage I’ve ever owned on the 3 precious Tenere’s was the stock Tenere luggage.
