I will be collecting my s10 on Saturday! It still hasn't quite sunk in.

My old 885i tiger will finaly have a stable mate, which releases it for harsher offroad duties.

I can't wait! ::022::

Trying to resist the farkles until I have her run in and I get a good guage of what I need. Allthough my dealer will be fitting Oxford Adventure heated grips as allthough it's sunny now we all know it's not going to last!

Please don't dare me, I already have a lengthy list starting...

every Altrider part
Touratech pannier racks
ECU Flash
pivot pegs
anti vibe adjustable bar risers

Still undecided on which tank bag, I like the oem one but I would like to see one in person first.

You won't go far wrong with a SW Moto Bags Connection one .... very good, well constructed kit. IMHO

I double dog dare you to just place the order and be done with it. Whats another 2K on top of what you already spent. You know you want to. In fact you deserve to....... >:D

My only concern is that you took so long to be tickled. You will laugh all the time while riding.

Welcome and congrats on the new bike. From personal experience the farkles add up on this bike. Post some pics up when you get the bike.

The farkles will be ordered in November after I get back from Morocco (the final trip for the Tiger before it gets sold - to pay for the farkles)

I do think I will pick up a tank bag asap though as hate filling my jacket with junk and theres not as much room to stuff the chippy and beers in it any more.

iffy - I really like the look of those Givi tank bags that click on to the tank - how does it handle when it's full (bit of weight in it) does it move about much or stress the tank fittings? and does it interfere at all when your on full lock? thanks.

I was initially looking at the SWM bags connection but the givi look to be just as good but a bit cheaper.

Other options I looked at were:

Ortlieb Waterproof tank bag http://www.ortlieb.co.uk/motorcycle-tankbag-787.html
Enduristan - Sandstorm 2 http://www.zenoverland.com/luggage_tankbags/enduristan_sandstorm2_enduro.html
Yamaha OEM

I already have the Bagster Alpha bag on the tiger but found it very wide and you are restricted to one mounting point on the tank cover which is too close to the handlebars.

My main criteria is the bigest I could get without any handlebar interferance and easy access for refueling. Waterproof would be a bonus, at least showerproof with a raincover. and has to have a top map pocket.

The dealer called yesterday, confirming that I can colect it 9am Saturday. The girlfriend is not going to see me all weekend!!

Not inexpensive, but the Touratech bag fits all your criteria:

I like the touratech bag, seems to be exacly what I want. I've been unable to find any reviews for it, but will have to make my decition soon. it is quite expensive compared to everything else though.

Not had the tank bag move, it comes with a seperate map pouch that clips on and a seperate rain cover, there is also a security strap in case it comes unseated from the ring, its not budged when i forgot to use it, it is only 20litres, smaller than what i'm used to, but then it means i carry less crap ::008::
Have fun on Saturday
