California wildfires seem to me to be the bigger nightmare when it comes to natural disasters. the trauma of seeing the smoke and flames racing toward all you have . the terror of it being fire. the total loss everything , burnt to ashes. makes hurricanes seem preferable , if one could choose their natural disaster . a reminder in this world that permanent is fleeting , it could be you or me next.

Yes, headed towards Ireland.
But seems to be "slowing down", less wind speed. (says the danish weather forecast), but still powerfull enough to do same damage.

things seem quiet now , have not had a chance to visit coastal area to see or spend some dollars to help in a small way.... its not the first time nor will it be the last time that hurricanes will come and do their thing . it is part of life , you have the good and then there is the bad ..... most will overcome in some way this devastation , some will move on.... it is not the end , it is a new beginning ( that no one wanted ) on this journey we call life....

Just got off the phone with someone at Taqueria San Juan in Port Aransas. Said they've been open for three days. I told my wife it's time to plan a ride to Rockport and Port A .

Signatures ??? we don't need no stinking signatures !!!

Excellent news!!!!
Wish I was there now.
Sent all 3 of my Yamaha generators to Puerto Rico. (boss requested them) As soon as a new 3000 arrives at my dealership, I'm heading to Port A! (hard to come by right now)

Thanks for the heads up. :)

I'd be there now, but waiting on the new generator. Hurricanes pretty much depleted Yamaha of the model I am wanting. Waiting for it to arrive at my dealership.

I'd be there NOW. The weather is absolutely perfect down here now. Kind of an irony.
