6'6" tall, so years back, when thinking of a forum name, I landed on Longman or Londude.............Longdude sounded better. I've been the Dude ever since. Is that a good thing ?

I entered the forum world about 10 years back. At that time I had my first ST1300 thus the name.
Seems that the screen name still works as I now ride a Super Tenere! -JEP-

I was given my name by the instructors when I was going through police motor school. All of the students get nicknames based on something they do good or bad during the class. The instructors said that I looked so smooth when I rode and they gave me the nickname "Velvet."

I go by Magdump on a few forums dedicated to other hobbies of mine. I chose the name for reasons I no longer clearly remember but probably because I still enjoy doing magdumps out of machineguns after all these years. Usually folks grow out if that but I never did I guess.

I'm originally from Liverpool on the coast of north west England. The inhabitants of this fine city are known as 'Scousers' pronounced as in mouse.
That picture is of the city waterfront, left to right is the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building, the Customs House, and on the right in the background is the Anglican cathedral, one of two cathedrals in the city. The city is often referred to as the second capital of Ireland, due to the proximity of the Emerald Isle, and that almost every family has an Irish connection.
Oh and the Beatles were Scousers. :)
