There are two different bikes in this thread, the 250 and 450. The price for the 250 will surely be a winner and this may easily be the tip of the Chinese iceberg coming to the US, like the Honda did in the 1960s.

I'm seriously considering picking up the 250cc for use on some of the single-track type mountain passes around here. My concern is what has been noted in the reviews; the seemingly too tall gearing for dirt. Reviewers mentioned having to slip the clutch quite a bit. Based on the terrain they were testing on, it didn't seem as "extreme" as some of the terrain around here…

Chinese bikes are extremely common in the rest of the world. I expect low power, so-so handling, soft bolts, fast wearing cables that rust, old fashioned (no o or x-ring) chains, soft steel sprockets, paint to fade in the sun, etc.

They'll sell like hotcakes and we will adapt.
