Well not really, it's not a problem when alot of people have it right? I love riding
After 20+ years of riding, looks like it's time for a adventure touring bike. My back and knees dont quite agree with sportier bikes out there anymore and I love racking in the kms. I ride 99% roads with 1km everytime I leave my place(gravel roads).
The S10 was not on the radar.. that thing seems to fly pretty darn low in magazines and such, other than ADVrider.
After test driving a 1200GS Adventure last week and fainting from the sticker shock(30k Can for what I want...) I stumbled on a S10 in a Yamaha dealer and looking forward to test driving one shortly. My mind is pretty much made up, I really hope it clicks when I ride it.
So i'm here to see what's the deal, review, issues, likes and what not. Seems like a pretty reliable bike compared to most out there once past the initial 1000kms check-up, spoke tightening and lil things like that. Does not seem to have any major issues really worth talking about to steer me away from it.
Cheers!
