I picked up the Tenere from dealer Yesterday and now have 130 miles on her. I came off a goldwing, ST1300 and ZZX14 in the last year and the Tenere feels like a 125 endro to me but still has enough power to cruise the highway. Love the Airflow and feel of riding it .
Its already hot midday here in Central Texas Austin Area and much better to get caught in traffic on the Tenere than pretty much anything else I have ridden in awhile . Loveing it and will be reading for weeks to learn

I have had it two days and I already got caught in rush hour traffic ...
I was meeting the Wife down at Canoli Joe's for dinner and took a hour and a half to make it down Mopac a main artery here in Austin. About 90 and the intake I didnt want to look at but the Tenere didnt get over 220 in stop and go. Cools down pretty fast when you get moving and way better than the Wing or the ST1300 in the heat due top less wind is blocked, The ZX14 I had was good but there was a lot of heat coming off it at idle and it would get to flashing when too hot.
I think I will ride more with this bike but now I have to find stuff to buy for it to make it mine . ::012::
Looks like its going to be a fun trip .
I am already thinking a long long tirp next June 2013 if the world doesnt end , then again we have the right bikes for riding during that time

Haha, damn mayans! Unless they're right, in which case there are some good group gatherings this summer around North America in the events section.

Welcome aboard. :)

Had too many toys the last couple of years

I just traded in the GL1800 on the Tenere and so this feels like a 250 to me and I havnt rode a twin for decades . Having fun . LOL I went out across a filed today nothing even a challenge but on the wing or the other bikes it would have sucked . I tried two up today as a pretty young thing really wanted a ride . The things we do to be nice to young ladies. Guess Im just a nice guy .
Dont think she would want her face shown and she had more clothes on this morning for the ride and a helmet before the flamers start or as I cannot post a picture .... never mind

Im trying to talk her into posing on the bike while washing it , I think I will have to stoop to say its for a contest :p or something LOL Shes nice and has a great personality, love motorcycles and wants to ride her own ::018::. She works in a Hospitable area now as that was a couple of months ago while she bartended going through school. Sigh she is 28 so a tad young for anything other than Eye candy , mostly because she laughs when partying with me that Im older than her mom who is not bad looking either at 48 . ::010::
Sucks getting older but Im trying to do it gracefully by hanging out with younger people .
Hope the wife doesnt see this ::)
