Hello, I've been an addict to motorcycles for 40 years. Please no intervention, I want to stay addicted as it keeps me sane.

Just picked up a new leftover 2013 red and white S10 by accident and I think I come out a winner. I went in Saturday to purchase a new leftover 2014 Suzuki V-strom that the not so local dealer was selling Very Low price. While they were doing the paper work, they received a recall notice from American Suzuki and they could not sell any bikes they had on the floor until the repairs were made which would have been February. The dealer offered me the S10 for the same price. After test riding, I was sold and here I am. My previous bike was a Buell Ulysses and also have a MZ Skorpion Traveller and a KTM 640e.

Sounds like you got a good deal. The Super Tenere is leagues above a V-Strom in many aspects.

There are lots of Tenere riders here in the PNW. We get together often and ride, at least once a month. Checkout these two sites for more info on events.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. January is alway a very busy month for me with work and family. Hopefully I can hookup with the pnwtenere riders for some great rides. I' ve been mounting some farm leaders on in my limited spare time.. Madstad,Oxfords, Wolfman and today McCruise.
Only have 600 miles on the bike but the more I make it mine the more I don't think I have enough vacation from work this summer. I had a Buell Ukysses before this fine machine. While I still love the looks and the raw nature of the Uly, the Tenere gives me smother on road performance along with the freedom of my KTM 640. It's going to be a great summer 8)
