Hello from the Flint area of Michigan!

Just bought my S-10 today, couldn't be more excited. Bags should be here sometime next week, I can't wait to start pounding out the miles!

Hoping to meet some folks here and participate in some group rides!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum! From Flint, you have a pretty easy ride to some great scenic rides. Two I would suggest are M119, the Tunnel of Trees, and M22, which has some beautiful views of Lake Michigan.

Welcome from a fellow Michigander. I'm in the Detroit area and always up for trip, let me know if you'd like to meet up sometime. I just took a trip north last weekend. Did the Tunnel of Trees up to Legs Inn in Cross Village. On the way home from Petosky we took 31 through Charelvoix and around Torch Lake, really nice ride. Good luck with the trip.

How far along were the colors last weekend? I'm starting to see colors turn down here. I'm a bit worried about being a bit past the peak of the colors.

I think you're safe. I would say the colors were @ 40% changed last weekend. I've heard they're changing fast so hopefully you're going within the next week or two. 31 had a lot more color than 119.
