HEED Crash Bars

Well thought I would update this post. ...got the Heed bars last night (thanks to my beautiful wife for driving to the border and picking them up while I was ar work) the bars were packed awesome, the install was very straightforward and the quality is very good indeed. I think they look great as well. I am super happy with them. Pictures to follow

The Heeds look like quality bars. If I needed bars they'd be on the short list.

I've read nothing but good about Heed bars and the price can't be beat. Will be getting a set as well.

and here is a side shot.....and before I forget to mention this. when installing the bars I noticed that on the left side the lower left bolt, the one that replaces the original small tip over plastic piece from Yamaha, the bolt is a tad bit long on mine and actually was touching the radiator lower hose. I will either trim the bolt or just pick up a shorter one. Either way this is a good product for the money. I would definitely recommend.

Your mention of the long bolt begs the question of does the left side Heed bar have a mount for the bottom radiator grommet?

If not, likely you should be leaving the OEM tip over guards in place, on the outside of the Heed brackets.

Oh sorry that I did not mention that, there is indeed a mount for the grommet and it mounts perfectly. Again it was just an observation of mine, maybe its me being to picky but I would rather safe that sorry so I will give that hose a wide berth so to speak. but otherwise great bars great fit and finish.

The left lower bolt on my HEED bars doesn't touch the radiator hose, but man is it close. I can slide a piece of paper between the two but the is it. Perhaps some trimming in is order
