I saw one yesterday, heading southbound on I-11 towards Boulder City/Arizona as I was heading northbound back into the Vegas valley. It didn't look like it was a demo ride, but I could be wrong...
The battery is also located near the regulator/rectifier under that "skid plate".I believe you're right. Googling some pics, there's no reservoir and you can see the cable pull on the motor pics
Separately, anyone find the regulator/rectifier location idiotic for the theoretical purpose of the bike?

I also saw one in the Glen Oaks loop near Banning the other day. It looks to be a very uncomfortable bike. The handlebars are mounted odd and pulled way back and the foot pegs look like rear sets on a sport bike.I saw one yesterday, heading southbound on I-11 towards Boulder City/Arizona as I was heading northbound back into the Vegas valley. Maybe there is an "Ergonomics" upgrade pack ...I also saw one in the Glen Oaks loop near Banning the other day. It looks to be a very uncomfortable bike. The handlebars are mounted odd and pulled way back and the foot pegs look like rear sets on a sport bike.
Maybe owners will need to or prefer to, fit risers of some description.I also saw one in the Glen Oaks loop near Banning the other day. It looks to be a very uncomfortable bike. The handlebars are mounted odd and pulled way back and the foot pegs look like rear sets on a sport bike.
Do many slaves leak?Reg/rec is in the same position as my old Electraglide, which I agree doesn't seem ideal; still easy enough to move, as many owners of BMW F series twins have done to get their R/R somewhere cool.
Battery beneath the engine, very KTM, but needs good under-ride protection that only a stout sump guard provides. Personally I have no problem with a cable clutch, having endured issues with leaking slaves on my KTMs in the past.
Gotta believe you saw something else Chris. The Pan America has the foot pegs located directly below the front of the seat. The Super Tenere for comparison appears to have the foot pegs 1-2" further rearward than the PA:I also saw one in the Glen Oaks loop near Banning the other day. Apparently HD has had enough problems with clutch master cylinders that several models (maybe all models) have gone back to a cable for the clutch. I know a fellow rider with a 2021 HD Road Glide with a cable. His previous Street Glide had a hydraulic clutch. He asked about the switch and was told HD had too many problems with the hydraulics. As for me, I prefer a hydraulic clutch. Is it a cable clutch? I don't see a reservoir.
That’s not the rectifier there on the Super Tenere, looks similar though at a glance. I’m pretty sure the rectifier is up behind the RHS fairing panel.that rectifier location is in the same place as the rectifier on the Tenere plus Tenere has an oil filter sticking out front ..... so what is the problem ?
