That is some seriously good pricing.

They must have done a special deal with Yamaha. There was a 13 on the floor earlier in the season with a price over $14k on the tag.

If it is for real, great. However, too many times I've seen "deals" like this online, and then when you dig deeper it has a few thousand dollars of other fees not included in the advertised price.

Certainly worth looking into, though...

I'll be there at some point this week and will let you know the details if someone hasn't by then.
Great.

"PLEASE CALL FOR CURRENT FEES AND TAXES" tells me that perhaps there may be a bit more to this than what meets the eye.

It is what it is. There are several dealers out there with 13 models for 8K + tax & license. You are going to take a short term hit on used S10 prices, but when the overstock bikes are all sold, the used bike market will go back up.

Like that Sandy Eggo flyer with 1800 in fees, that's still a Hell of a deal.

Still new here, but just chiming in on this topic.

I paid a very similar price a couple weeks ago at my local dealer for my new 2013.

No miles, never titled, new 2013 S10 for under 8500. Of course OTD/OTR will include your tax/fees but I saved even more since I was trading in on the S10.

Get 'em while they're hot!! ::017::

I agree about the temporary price dip for the used market but I'd bet they come back up after these new leftover 2013s are gone.

Also, what a bike! I'd have bought two if I had the scratch ::001::

Yamaha is giving back $2000 in customer cash through the end of September, that splains it.
In addition to that they are offering an additional $1,000 trade in allowance on new Super Teneres, so a new 2013 will get a $3,000 discount from Yamaha USA.

June 1, 2015 through September 30, 2015.
Eligible Models:
All new 2011 – 2015 motorcycle models listed below:
Trade-in Allowance: $1,000
FJR1300A/ES
Super Ténéré/ES
YZF-R1 (2011 – 2014 model)

Yes, I took advantage of this as well.

I was glad to learn it was for ANY trade in, and not a Yamaha loyalty program or anything.

Great time to get into an S10!

Works out to 8855. I pick mine up the 23rd. Of course I'll have to pay taxes/tags on top of that when i get back to Texas.

I didn't know about the cashback program, but honestly half the allure was getting to do the fly and buy I've always wanted to do.

Just spoke with the service manager. They had 10 STs at that price. Only three left, and this is their big sale weekend.

BTW, there are 2 Gen2's (non ES) here as well. Listed at $9,200, and $10,200.
Freight / setup charge is $499.
