That stuff is cool. You can get the stuff here in the states. I'm working with a friend already to offer pre cut ,specific part coverage in this carbon vinyl. Then people don't have to ship it in from out of the country and it will be cut out and ready to install. I have this at the shop now. Cool stuff.

Motor cop, it answers that question on the site. Basically direct sun it warrants for 4 years and indoors for 12yrs. It is water resistant. For the small price to last four years is good. The reflective vinyl decals you see on cars only has a 4 yr warranty as well. I too think this stuff will work for the price compared to real carbon panels.

How well will that stuff hold up against; weather, sun, big washes? Nice find
yep, like he said... hard abuse, direct sunlight, should last several years..... Also, if you scratch, fall, or mess it up you can replace it pretty easy and not to expensive...... SWEEEEEEEET ! :D

For those of you who may want to SIlver Side panel look on your Blue Teneres, the 3m Carbon DI-NOc material comes in Silver as well as Anthracite, White, and of course the black. For under $50 you could have silver on the side panels and have it look pretty nice compared to over $300 for the side panels from Europe.

How does that conform to compound curves?

IMO, the 3M stickers dun come close to the real deal..
real CF just feels and looked different.. to wrap the side panels, the costings and the labour would be at around that price of the $300 real CF panels already..

For the 4 foot x 6 foot piece of carbon vinyl i bought, i should be able to cover the side panels, noth saddle bags, and the top box. this is all for $150. I don't see how it would be close to the cost of $350 for just the side panels.

There is one big problem with the 'real deal'... They are very hard and ridged.. If you fall, Etc they will probably break... If you cover the stock ones with carbon vinyl, the stock sides have some flex to them. Also if you scratch, tear, fall, Etc with the vinyl you can easily peel it off and re apply.... or, if you don't like it your back to stock for pretty cheep.... No one really needs to hire anyone to install it... So its really just the cost of the vinyl and a razor blade.. .
