I am back the wife is still on the road with three of her friends. Rod (ColRider) it was nice to meet you and yes we did ride the loop through the RMNP man what a ride, we tried to do the park the next day and ran in to a snow storm. Lots of pics I will try do a ride report when she gets back next week as you know I am bloody hopeless on this thing. And for Karen's bike I checked the inline filter for three days and there was no crud in the filter the bike ran ok at the lower altitude but was starving for fuel at the higher altitudes so I removed the filter and the bike ran great. So maybe its me but I think the HD dealer was trying to sell a new tank?

Karen got home late last night Rod and no problems with her bike, She clocked in just over 13,000 km and I really don’t think there is a problem with her tank. Have to post some pics of our trip when we get them sorted out ....

No problem Rod quite understand under the circumstances. Hope everything works out well for your better half. We had an amazing vacation. We did that loop you showed us that first day. It blew us away. So we decided to do some of it again before heading south to Mesa Verde. Ran into a snow storm at the top of RMNP. Harleys don't handle to well in 4 inches of snow. Karen had a little mishap. We had to turn around and come back down because we were holding up the snow plough. I took this pic after we turned around. More to come.

Hope she was okay after the mishap!!!

Thanks for the concern about Nancy. I'll post up more info as we get closer, but in brief - her condition has worsened and she is now scheduled for colon surgery the 27th of this month.
