What is everyone using to plan fuel stops on long trips?
Any good apps?

GPS fuel suggestions are a kock up.Squibb said:It's an available function on my BMW Nav IV (aka Garmin 660). Personally, I found it more trouble than it was worth when touring in Europe. It takes your concentration once the range calculation is triggered, winds up range anxiety &, at the end of it all, the fuel station data cannot be relied upon. It had me spearing oiff the Autobahn to a village pump that had closed down, when there was a shiny new service station near the next junction not 5 miles on.
So, we just keep a look out once we reach say 160 miles, only using the nav fuel search cautiously if things get tight. Each to their own though; back woods & wilderness environments bring their challenges & probably an aux. fuel cell.
