Here ya go.. I used some scrap steel I had in the barn and PIAA bar clamps. Also cheap peg. You can buy better pegs, but this works and I needed them for a trip..

That looks pretty good. Can you get a pic of someone or yourself resting your feet on them while on the bike?

I will have to ask some others, I don't have any, and the bars are off my bike at this time. Sorry..

On edit, maybe this will help. I have a 30" inseam and when I sit back on the seat my legs are almost straight. If I rest the heel of the boot on the peg, they are.

You can not put a lot of pressure on them,, like trying to use them to push yourself back on the seat. Other than that, they work fine. For me..lol

I was going to ask Tabasco to bend some ss pipe in a U and weld to the bars and then use that to mount the pegs to. That would also give some protection to the water pump.

That is where I want the pegs, and with my 33-34" inseam I would have a little bend in the knee....perfect position. I would want to be able to put some pressure on them. Some U-shaped bar attached and coming down from both of the AltRider mounting points would be perfect. Or, maybe V-shaped flat steel with holes drilled in the top to bolt over the Altrider mounting plates. Thanks for the ideas.

After working on this for awhile, I really feel, if you want to put pressure on the pegs, you would need the U shaped tube connected to both the down tubes on the bars. I(not an engineer, lol), think the steel tube will give more support.

Good luck on your project..
