I know topics get worn out on forums. I'm trying to get quick answers.

I'm over 300lbs and wanting to re-spring the front. The bike came with a Touratech Adv rear with resevoir. It's perfect.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Call or write Sonic Springs. I think they are out of Oklahoma City. Do a little homework first on what you might need. You might need a 1.5 ?

I am 220 and went with 0.95kg/mm. Honestly I think 0.90kg might have been better.
For someone your weight I think you could be happy with 0.95 to 1.05kg/mm. 1.0kg/mm would be my choice. Definitely no more than 1.05kg/mm.
For reference when I sold my S10 the new owner was 260lbs. We spent a bit of time in my garage to set it up before he took it home and I only had to add 1-2 turns on the front preload to get the sag proper for his weight with the 0.95 springs. Honestly I doubt you need any more than 1.0kg/mm.

I used Sonic springs, but Stoltec Moto also has drop in fork springs that are the same length as stock for only $100/pair.

I am curious what rate your rear spring is? For someone your weight you should be at least 950 to 1100lb/inch. (170-190N)
