I am in need of a new DS helmet and wondered if anyone had tried the Fly F2 Carbon Helment. If you have one and could give me some info, I would appreciate any feed back.
Also how does it work with goggles. I have the Scott dust and sand OTG.
Thanks

Hey Jim,
I don't own one but I can tell you I have read tons of home work on it. I was just about to pull the trigger on one for the looks and price. After reading just about every review I possibly could I started to get the feeling that the fit and interior quality was lacking. Some people called the material cheep, Etc. On one of the reviews I came across someone that owned the FLY, and because of fit, Etc he moved onto the ICON Variant. I started reading up on those and many more people gave it raving reviews. After now reading about the ICON ive started saving for one of these because of all the positive reviews all over the net. Just my $.02

Thanks Jaxon. I have done some research and only found a handful of reviews. It seem there is always one person that will knock the hell out of a product and at least one that I think works for the seller. lol

I have a chance to get one for a good price and for what I'm doing it would be a very nice helment, I think. The shape of the lid fits my noggin pretty good.

I don't want to mess up a good helmet in the rocks, but don't want one coming through the side either. ::025::

Still looking..

I have a Fly, but not the Carbon. It's not the most comfortable helmet I've ever had, like my Shoei. But it's okay for riding off road and not getting my nicer helmet all mucked up. The visor works great and maybe after I've worn it more it'll adjust. If not I'm taking a Dremel to it and customize it ???

I read reviews on the Fly DS. I guess I was not reading about the carbon. There are a million reviews on a ton of web sites. Call around and find a shop with a few makes and models and go try them on. Maybe check motoliberty.

Yeppers, that is what I'm trying to do now. I will give Motoliberty a call. Maybe I can find one at a small shop that just could not move it.

I'm close to pulling the trigger on one that is marked down 100+ dollars, the only thing I have to know, is will my goggles fit the opening in the helmet. Also the colors suck, but then again, after I'm through with it, there may not be any colors left. ::025::

One of my employees bought a F2 Carbon this past summer and loves it. He races B calss Moto and puts a lot of hours in on the bike. The F2 has held it's shape and has not broken down much at all. It's very light and comfortable. We also have 3-4 customers running the same helmet and all have nothing but good things to say about it. For the price it's a very good helmet. FYI - I've sold about 60 Kenetic helmets this past summer and own two myself. At $99 it's the best bang for the buck helmet on the market.
