For fours years now i have been riding my tenere with no windscreen at all. I chose that because the factory screen was unmitigated garbage and I prefer naked bikes anyway.

But finally this year I decided to try and get a windscreen I could live with.

My demands:

I must see over it completely and see my front tire if i stand and look down.

Air as smooth as naked up to 80mph.

Less noise than naked above 50mph.

Improved cold weather protection.

Reduced rider fatigue on 4+ hour days.

The following combo worked like a charm:

Madstad bracket system set full low and max angle.

Calsci medium windscreen.

This meets every demand above and then some.

For reference:

Rider is 5’10”, 30” inseam.
I sit upright with a straight spine.
Corbin seat means no forward lean.
Scorpion exo at-950 helmet.
All testing sans earplugs.

Wow, at 5'10" can you see over the instruments? Just kidding. I wish I was normal height.

I added the calsci to my 2019 using stock mounting points .... works very well indeed . and I am a very happy customer .... California science out of Missouri , interesting . on the 13 of November will do a 1200 mile trip , works well on shorter trips . I expect the same.

Lol its true though...this bike is almost too tall for my 30” inseam. I dont want to lower it though, so i deal with being unable to totally flat foot the bike.

Hows the weather up there?

CalSci and their low pressure vent makes it work differently than a lot of screens. I used their tall for a few years and then went with one of the last tall CeeBaileys to be produced for their greater width. I've added a spoiler since then as well. Very comfortable and I can still see over the top. Oh, and the wings do make a difference.
