We pay for it in the summer though. But, yeah, even considering the heat, I would not want y'alls weather....even if your grass IS greener. :)
I'd say "pay for it in the summer" is almost an understatement from my perspective in Austin, and I think DFW somehow typically has hotter and colder weather than we get 200 miles to the south.

I think Austin may have less temperature variations. Our extremes seem to be more drastic. We've had record highs, and lows, in the same week. But those poor guys across the pond....their weather sucks. Back when I lived in the "desert" part of Washington state, I hated the weather because it rained too much. (moved there from AZ, which is an actual desert). Had a history class that talked how when the first English explorers showed up in Puget Sound, they sent a message back to the Queen advising that the weather "was not fit for man, nor beast".

Hi 75°F Lo 52°F

It is a great riding day....stupid job. But, next week, this time of the year, we could have freezing temps, and ice. "like a box of chocolates".

Import TO Japan? But, it is of no surprise to me that they don't like the size of the T12. I'm not to sure I would like it over there.

My original plan was to get a 60th Anniversary painted ES. (hail, King Kenny!) Couldn't believe it when I found out that the US is the only place that the ES is not offered in that paint scheme. I was told: blue or black. I was extremely surprised to find out that the "blue" they mentioned was Cobalt. And, with our excess of sunny days shining on the pearl, it became my favorite color. But, I also realize beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
You are not alone on the love of the cobalt blue! I have a cobalt blue Roadliner as well as my Super Tenere if budget were not a concern I would have the cobalt Super Ten too, and the FJR for that matter. It is the most incredible factory color Yamaha has done IMO.
