For anyone who cares, I finally got my ecu back just now. ECU Unleashed claimed in an email to me yesterday that they overnighted my ecu to me on Friday. Well, I had provided the pre-paid Fedex shipping label, and could see that the package had not entered the system until this morning. Seems they sent it only yesterday. You draw your own conclusions.
I have one significant bit of advice for ECU Unleashed, if you are reading this thread, and that is to make your communication to your buying public - the ones who pay your salary, your bills, pay for your vacations, etc - SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. I cannot emphasize it enough. If I treated my client base the way I have been treated, I would be out of business in short order.
Here is another teensy suggestion - have a friggin' phone number. 20 year olds text and Facebook, but old coots like most Tenere owners, the ones who can afford $14,000 motorcycles and the thousands of dollars in added farkles, don't text and Facebook like that. We want to call someone to ask a couple of questions and get a sense of comfort before we part with our property and money.
I am grateful for the free update to the flash - I truly am - but there is a long way to go for your company in the customer relations / communications department that would likely create many more happy customers, and convert people like me who are simply glad the ordeal is over, and that I actually have my property back.
YMMV
