tough to say - a number of people backed out when they heard the delay news, so I would think there are a number up for grab

Also, like alot of people have mentioned on the site here, alot of dealerships ordered them & will be looking for buyers.....so maybe no need to order, may just need to buy

Welcome aboard!!!

I'd say your chances are good since there have been several reported cancellations mentioned here and on other forums - plus many "extra" units ordered by dealers.

Good Luck!!!

I'd say real good odds. Start calling the local Yamaha dealers and see who has something available. Or, I know for a fact that Desert Valley Powersports in Prosser, WA has one coming that is unspoken for. Don't know if it's black or blue, but call Art at 509-786-0260 and tell him Eric V. sent you. (I get nothing, but said I'd pass the word) I scored one the day before the August delivery announcement at my local Yami dealer or would have put my deposit down on the one DVP has coming. I bought my FJR from them in '03 and they are great people to deal with and an outstanding dealer.

Forgot to add that there are tons of ads on Cycle Trader for Super Teneres too. Some are obviously canned ads from when the PDP was active, but others are legit and have bikes coming. I called a few of the CT ads and easily found several bikes. D&H in Cullman also has 3-4 bikes coming for guys that backed out, and at least one of those I know personally and he won't be diving back in.
