I was looking for some adjustable pegs for my T12 to lower them a touch to take the strain out of old knees. I ran across the SW Motech Evo pegs, but wasn't thrilled with the $209 price tag. As I was going through the website, they had a sale on some that according to their website wouldn't fit. As a former Yamaha dealer, I cross checked all of the model numbers and all of them showed to use the same part number so I went ahead and ordered a set. Their website showed them to fit a type "DP07" and would not fit a "DP04". I have no clue what the difference is, but when I received them the only difference I could find was the diameter of the clevis pin. The package showed it also fit a XT600Z Tenere, so I looked up the part number for that pin and it was 10mm in diam eter where the US spec T12 is 8mm. They mounted fine with the 8mm pin from my T12, but I went ahead and ordered a package of 10mm x 40mm pins from Amazon and will drill the clevis on the bike out 2mm when they come in.

They have these pegs on sale for $70 and it says "limited stock"! I got them mounted and they work exceptionally well by allowing the peg to raise and lower as well as move for and aft on the eccentric built in to the peg.

This is a great deal for those looking while their supply lasts..... This is the link to the pegs...... https://sw-motech.us/bike/YAMAHA/XT1200ZE/2016/DP07/products/ergonomics/footrests/

I was thinking about these. Thanks for the post. Does .60 really make that much difference? And that is straight up or down, forward or back. No combination.

Well my pegs came in. Like the above said, the pivot pins on the ST are smaller diameter. I was lucky and had some brass bushings from another project that almost fit perfect with a little shortening and drilling the peg holes out a tad. They pegs are heavy, they are cast steel, the male piece that goes into the steel frame piece is cnc aluminum, the indexed pivot is cast steel also.

The weird part is putting them in the lowest position, they are at the same height as the stock pieces. For short legged people who want to raise the pegs this may work. This is a '23 model, maybe the Gen 1 are different. They also stick out farther, so it may effect the corner carving.

I'm gonna have to be careful in the future.

So, that’s why they were on sale. I have the SW Motech Ion pegs on my ‘23 S10 which fit with no modifications. They are slightly lower in the low position compared to the stock pegs.

Did you measure them from the top to the ground on each to determine thay were the same height? I have a 2nd gen and they are definitely lower by about 15mm. That doesn't seem like much, but it is quite noticeable.

Also, I have mine on with the 8mm pins and they are fine, but you can get 10mm clevis pins in a 6 pack from Amazon for $7.99. I bought some, but haven't put them on yet. https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Single-Hole-Clevis-Pins/dp/B07ZVMXZ58/ref=sr_1_4?crid=36LBUPB1VL1LM&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.1JrgR7uZo0RRX5mpMneO3JguvYROKWbwdORHj0UQz-2IZXPmabjNmQdfsUHKXbBhkd3VltILXIC6WTbZfQgZOzqVPRibKbzhCuVDQhDKnjU8vI5OrN-_94o6yj87TFUp7sq2uBe5fqGR-yrdsnPttdMRRf6txLuFDq_74muloELdfZSV-v4l98_i79ntPGGkmw19PRuz2vER7b41EgwH3yIa0J46bdGP3ElRLyCaymAHCiez7MqMj8VOW3A5fN8gD3DfCgTYq9IKZPzMk05bvvSn81hSMdbIbSGb0e9zTkE.ZQcSbsz1fQnXn7uaYkqsHcWZxWvFB5I8u8kT4TZMwoc&dib_tag=se&keywords=clevis+pin+10x40mm&qid=1709942286&s=industrial&sprefix=clevis+pin+10x40mm,industrial,103&sr=1-4&th=1

I am going to use them. They are bigger and my size 13 likes them.
I compared height of both to the mount on the frame. Remember the yamaha rubber drops down into the steel.
I was hoping for some drop! It’s all good. If someone were to ask me to pay far larger pegs id probably pass though.
