So I crushed my headers and ther cruise would not work. I ordered arrow headers but they would take 8 weeks. So while I was waiting for the headers I had it flashed by speedway in Newmarket ontario. The flashed it in anticipation of my arrow headers and a kn air filter.

After the flash the cruise worked again. I installed the kn air filter still not arrow headers and then the cruise did not work. I thought that it was an air fuel thing and once I added arrow headers it would work again. Well no such luck now it is not working and no idea why. Could it be something with the flash that maybe was not correct?

Front brake light switch (as Sierra mentioned, there is a recall). If not, rear brake light switch, clutch switch, TB roll-off disengage switch.

Probably the brake switch, but check that the harness plugs are fully seated and clicked solidly in place on the ECU.

The cruise control does not turn on??…..or once on, it does not set??….check the rear brake switch….it is common for it to be “very tight” regulated…this will cause the stop light to come on and off intermittently just by the vibration”…and this will not allow the CC to be set

Well I received a letter in the mail saying my 2018 was recalled years ago but it works fine so I never bothered to take it in, it now has 60,000 miles and cruise control is still working fine. Might wind up regretting not taking it in if cruise control quits working sometime when I’m on a long trip a long ways from home.

It will turn on but not set

Checked rear break switch not tight light not coming on unless I press the brake pedal

I cleaned the front and rear abs sensors . They were not really dirty to begin with but thought o would try

I had the recall for front brake switch done though
Yeah, I know. But with most of all the past people with cruise issues, it came back to the front switch. Maybe a bad new switch? Did they actually do the recall?

check the “clicks”…of the clutch lever and the front brake lever…two clicks each, the first click is the deactivation of the Cruise in both….the second click in the clutch is for starting in gear and the second in the brake lever it's the stop light
