My cruise control only works sometimes, but not all of the time.
I rode the bike today. I turned the key on , waited for it to go through the brief cycle and a code of "090" is displayed.
I turn the key off, pause, turn on the key, and it goes through the brief cycle and all looks normal. In both cases, I attempted to arm the cruise control prior to starting the bike. The amber cruise control arm light is flashing, meaning that you cannot set the cruise control.
I cycled the key again and no luck.
I started the bike and rode it for about an hour with no cruise control.
After a stop, I restarted the bike and the cruise control finally worked and it worked for the remainder of the day.
WTF...?? I would be pleased to hear from others who have experienced this problem. I have spoken with the dealership where I bought the bike (2018 ES), and they have never heard of this issue.
I'll try and post a picture of the display.
Any comments or suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
