Oh they like to stick it to you here, I went to overtake and got zapped by a hidden laser and 300 meters ahead got a cop waving me into a layby. I was doing 104km in an 80km zone, about 16 mph over the limit during the overtake. At least they are honest about it here, just want the cash, no points on license. 1km more and the fine would have been 2% of household income and a months ban......mike25 said:650Chf, WOW, how fast were you going?
Think I would rather worry about my satnav being nicked I think I would be spending a lot of time in jail if I lived in SwitzerlandDogdaze said:Oh they like to stick it to you here, I went to overtake and got zapped by a hidden laser and 300 meters ahead got a cop waving me into a layby. That's the way I see it.... It will stop the casual thief lifting it off the cradle when you've gone in to pay for fuel..... wouldn't want to leave it on when going into the services for food and drink though ::008::Dogdaze said:I would suggest it as a deterrent rather a security aspect, as 1) Sat nav's are getting less expensive so the theft risk is lower, 2) it would be stolen by an opportunist thief, so anything, even a nut and bolt would suffice.
Red...if it was pink I could still handle it though ^-^Dogdaze said:Are you sure that's red? Looks pink to me......... ::017::
