So I'm doing my second oil change at 1600 miles cause that's what I wanted to do.
1st @ 600, then 1000 miles later too.
Anyway...
I'm done topping off the 3.6 quarts & the oil plug filler cap falls from the footpeg where I placed it & the damn thing cracks off a good part of the edge!!!

It's not old. It should not be brittle. Yamaha use to give you a aluminum cap on most bikes.
It's obviously not even good strong plastic. Better watch tightening one down cause I bet it will crack in half.
The cap didn't even fall that far. It wasn't like it fell from my hands while walking around the garage. It fell from the damn foot peg.
