I was reading the owner manual and I found a recomendation about to change brake lines (pipes) every 4 years, then searching at Internet I found Galfer Spain www.galfer.es or www.galferusa.com (spain page is more complete), a factory who develop brake products
I´m thinking to buy some pieces for my motorcycle from Galfer, I checked Spain page, asked about and they gave me some advices.
Kit of front brake pads specific FD178G1375
http://www.galfer.es/asp/ficha_calidad.asp?ids=481681756052333226&id_qualita
t=G1375&id_producte=FD178&p_cataleg=M
rear brake pads FD295G1371
http://www.galfer.es/asp/ficha_calidad.asp?ids=481681756052333226&id_qualita
t=G1371&id_producte=FD295&p_cataleg=M
Front line (or pipe) CE017
Rear line (or pipe) CE017R
Te idea is change brake lines (pipes) for the Galfer`s metalic lines (pipes) .They explain to me that change improve brake power, eliminate fading, or weak .... I can´t find the exact word to explain in english, but the feeling that the brake is not enough intense
The lines I had seen in the Galfer´s website looks like the BMW GS1200 brake lines looks stronger then the original rubber brake lines in ST
There are somebody who changed brake lines ? or know more about metalic brake lines? Do you have some advice about ?
Thanks
